A 21-year-old Lexington man was taken to the hospital early Sunday after being stabbed in the stomach.
Lexington police were called to a home on the 1900 block of Fair Oaks Drive shortly after midnight Saturday. A man was found with a stab wound to his abdomen and was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. His condition and name were not available.
Police think the man got into an altercation with a girlfriend, who is the primary suspect in the stabbing. Her name was not released.
Lt. Jesse Harris said the stabbing remained under investigation.
