A Taylorsville woman was indicted by a Fayette County grand jury Monday on manslaughter and other charges in connection with a fatal wreck in September.
Kayla Mitchell Foster is charged with second-degree manslaughter, second-degree assault and leaving the scene of the wreck that killed Enereida De Los Santos.
According to circuit court documents, Foster, 27, was driving a 1998 Chrysler Sebring on Ironworks Pike when she crossed the median and collided with a 1999 Honda Accord. The driver of the Honda, Lionel Perez, suffered minor injuries. Santos, 51, a passenger in the Honda, was pronounced dead at the crash scene.
The crash happened near the Kentucky Horse Park about 4:50 a.m. Sept. 14.

Foster pleaded not guilty during arraignment in district court Jan. 21. She was released from the Fayette County jail on a $12,600 bond. Foster is scheduled to appear in court March 20.
