Marshals find fugitive child rapist hiding in Lexington bedroom

A convicted child rapist who had been on the run from Virginia since 2013 was arrested by federal agents in Lexington. U.S. Marshals arrested Douglas "Scott" McBride at a home on Pasadena Drive, where he apparently had been living for eight months.

  • Fugitive Eric Conn arrives back in Lexington under FBI custody

    The FBI regained custody of fugitive lawyer Eric C. Conn on Tuesday following his capture in Honduras over the weekend. Within hours, he was back in Lexington, landing just after 7 p.m. and then escorted to an SUV.
