Two Wolfe County jail inmates who escaped March 25 are back in custody, Kentucky State Police said Thursday night.
John Trent, 23, and Dallas Trent, 19, both of Campton, escaped from a transport vehicle while being moved to the Wolfe County jail from the Three Forks Regional jail in Beattyville, according to police.
Dallas Trent, 19, was arrested Thursday in Powell County by a trooper from the Morehead state police post, authorities said. John Trent was arrested Wednesday by Clay City police.
The two are cousins.
Both were taken to the Powell County jail on second-degree escape charges, according to state police.
They were under indictment in Wolfe County for first-degree robbery at the time of their escape.
