Lexington police had made no arrests Saturday in connection with an early-morning shooting at Camelot East strip club that left two people injured.
One person was treated at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital for a gunshot wound or wounds; his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening, said Lexington police Sgt. Bryan Jared.
Personnel with the robbery/homicide division went to the hospital to interview that victim, Jared said.
Another person was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Police did not release identities of the two victims.
Never miss a local story.
"My understanding is the gunfire took place inside the club, causing everybody to run outside, and an officer was in the area and observed all this," Jared said.
The shooting was reported at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
