Firefighters remained at the scene of a fire Monday that significantly damaged a Lexington home overnight.
Investigators were trying to determine what caused the blaze, which broke out shortly after midnight at a house at 322 East Second Street, Battalion Chief Todd Samuelson said.
Firefighters limited the blaze to a bedroom, but there was significant smoke and water damage to other parts of the house, they said.
No one was injured.
But Samuelson said firefighters took one person to a hospital for symptoms not directly related to the fire.
The fire remained under investigation late Monday afternoon, fire officials said.
One person was displaced but was provided housing for the American Red Cross.
