A Perry County man died Wednesday after being shot in the face, and police continue to search for the alleged shooter.
Kentucky State Police were notified by the Pikeville Medical Center about 6:45 p.m., advising that Robert Earl Miller of the Ary community had died a day after being shot.
Troopers obtained an arrest warrant for James D. Brewer, 61, of Ary, charging him with murder. He is considered to be armed and dangerous, state police said in a news release.
On Tuesday night, troopers were called to a home on Coates Branch Road in Ary. Miller was found lying on the ground. He had been shot during a fight with Brewer, according to investigators.
