People's Exchange Bank President and CEO Claude Bentley announced Friday a $10,000 reward for tips leading to the arrest of the man involved in an attempted bank robbery this week.
On Wednesday, a man used a flower pot to break the glass front door of the Peoples Exchange Bank at 901 Richmond Road, but he couldn't get through a second, interior door. He quickly ran away, police have said.
Bentley said the reward was an effort to put an end to several bank robberies that have surfaced through Central Kentucky. Anyone with information about the man's identity or location may call police at (859) 258-3600 or Bluegrass Crime Stoppers at (859) 253-2020.
