Lexington police have charged a man with four robberies.
Kenneth Martin Andrews, 39, was arrested Friday on unrelated warrants as well as with the robbery of Game Stop at 524 West New Circle Road on March 10, according to a news release from Lexington police.
After his arrest, police said further investigation led to Andrews being charged in connection with three other robberies: Marathon at 1971 North Broadway on March 1; Circle K at 3140 Pimlico Parkway on March 24; and Shell at 1975 Nicholasville Road on April 17.
Edward Hale Jr., 35, has also been charged in connection with the Game Stop, Circle K and Shell robberies, along with 12 other robberies from January through April. One of the other robberies Hale has been charged in was at the Tobacco Zone on North Broadway Feb. 27. In that incident, the clerk shot Hale's accomplice, Darnell Thomas Jr., with his own gun. Andrews is not charged in connection with that robbery.
