State police arrested a Marion County man Sunday after his foster child was found wandering on a highway, according to a news release.
Jason K. Flowers, 36, was charged with wanton endangerment and endangering the welfare of a minor, state police said.
State police received notice about 10 a.m. Sunday that a 3-year-old girl had been found on Ky. 49 south of Lebanon. She was not injured and someone kept her at a house until police arrived, according to the news release.
Troopers went to houses in the area and figured out that the girl was Flowers' foster daughter. He had not been aware that the girl was missing from his home, state police said.
