Police arrested a Lexington woman who they said abandoned her infant and then was found Sunday morning passed out in a stolen car, according to WKYT.
Jamie Ivey, 25, was found about 8 a.m. on Fiddler Creek Way in a Honda Civic that had been reported stolen earlier in the day, WKYT reported. Police told WKYT that Ivey didn't know where she was or how she got into the car. She smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on her feet, police said.
Ivey's 5-month-old son also was found about 8 a.m. in Ivey's SUV, alone and with the windows up, WKYT reported. The SUV also was on Fiddler Creek Way.
Police charged Ivey with wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property and endangering the welfare of a minor.

The infant was taken to the hospital, police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said. She said she didn't know his condition.
