Crime of the Week:
Never miss a local story.
This week's crime of the week occurred on Redcoach Trail on June 16. In the early-morning hours, the victim came outside and found that someone had thrown a rock through the windshield of her vehicle, causing thousands of dollars' worth of damage. Someone used the hole to open the car door and stole the victim's wallet from the vehicle. The person or people then used the victim's credit cards nearby and were captured on camera (see video above). There have been many other vehicle break-ins reported in the area, which is off Redding Road near Kirklevington Park.
