A Lexington man pleaded not guilty in district court Tuesday to charges of using a website to offer sex with teenage girls for money.
Robert Constant is charged with two counts of human trafficking and two counts of first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.
Constant, 27, prostituted two 17-year-old girls, according to court documents. Some meetings between the girls and men were set up online, and others were arranged with men whom Constant knew, the documents said.
Also, Constant alledgedly provided crack cocaine to the girls and smoked with them, the documents said.
Constant was arrested June 28 on charges including fleeing and evading police; first-degree possession of a controlled substance; and leaving the scene of an accident. The case involving those charges was waived to a Fayette County grand jury this month.
Constant was being held in the Fayette County jail on an $88,000 bond. He's scheduled to appear in court July 29.
A Fayette County district court judge ordered Constant to have no contact with the girls, and they cannot visit Constant at the jail.
