A driver was ejected from a vehicle in a collision early Thursday morning on Georgetown Road, police said.
The crash occurred about 5:40 a.m. on Georgetown Road, just outside the Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital.
A yellow Jeep Wrangler was inbound on Georgetown Road and made a left turn into the equine hospital when it collided with a second vehicle, a white Mazda 6, traveling outbound.
The driver of the Jeep was thrown from the vehicle.
Both drivers were taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. Initial reports said the injuries were not life-threatening.
The names of the drivers have not been released. Police said both drivers were alone.
