Police are looking for an inmate who walked away from the Blackburn Correctional Complex on Tuesday morning.
Inmate Richard Shell, 42, was serving 16 years for charges out of Laurel County, including receiving stolen property, according to a news release from the minimum-security prison.
He would have been eligible for parole in March 2018, according to the release.
Shell is described as a 6-foot-tall white man with strawberry blond hair and blue eyes, weighing about 200 pounds, according to the news release.
