A Taylor County man was charged Friday with murder in the death of his wife, whose body was found in a road culvert, Campbellsville police said.
Dewayne D. Gribbins, 41, of Campbellsville, was charged in the death of Christina Gribbins, 39, police said.
Shortly before 6 a.m. Friday, the Campbellsville/Taylor County E-911 dispatch received a call reporting that a possible body had been found on Ky. 744.
Campbellsville Police Department officers and Taylor County deputy sheriffs found that a woman's body had been placed in a culvert under Ky. 744.

The body was taken to the state medical examiner's office, where an autopsy was conducted. The body was later identified as that of Christina Gribbins, police said. Gribbins remained in the Taylor County Detention Center on Friday afternoon.
