Two men were shot at a house on Warnock Street on Tuesday night.
Lexington police Lt. Jackie Newman said one of the men was shot in the leg and the other was shot in the groin. Both were taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, and their conditions were not immediately known.
“We believe there was a relationship between the victims and the suspect,” Newman said. “It’s related to criminal activity.”
Police were called about 7 p.m.
Newman said police believe that the shooting occurred inside 246 Warnock Street and that the victims then ran outside, where police found them in the street. Police were looking for the shooter.
