Police are asking for your help to apprehend a man who robbed the Shell station at New Circle and Russell Cave roads . Crime of the Week
A robbery from the Shell station at 435 West New Circle Road (Near Russell Cave Road) is this week’s Crime of the Week. At 9:35 p.m. April 6, police say, a man wearing a black bandana over his face implied that he had a firearm inside his shirt. He went behind the counter and ordered the clerk to open the safe, which she could not do. The masked man then took the cash from the register and ran. The man is described as black, in his 20s, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighing around 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray University of Kentucky hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants. Police say he might live near the Shell station.
Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the solving of this crime.

Suspect of the Week
This week’s suspect of the week is Danny Lee Carson, wanted on a charge of tampering with a prisoner monitoring device.
Carson, 42, is described as 5 feet tall, weighing 225 pounds.
