People collecting aluminum cans for recycling found a body near an interstate exit in Clark County on Friday.
Clark County Coroner Robert Gayheart said the body was found alongside Goshen Road at the intersection with U.S. 60. The location is near I-64 Exit 101.
Gayheart said the body had “been there a while,” which made it difficult to confirm the person’s age or gender. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday morning in Frankfort.
Clark County Sheriff Berl Perdue said the body was found Friday afternoon.
