A 15-year-old Boyle County girl missing since her stepmother was killed last week has been found safe in New Mexico.
Jenna Oakley, 15, of Danville was found unharmed in a Tucumcari, N.M., motel parking lot by the members of the Tucumcari Police Department and Quay County Sheriff’s Office about 9 p.m. (MDT) Saturday.
She and Kenneth R. Nigh, 20, of Arlington, Ind., were sitting in the 2014 Honda Civic with Kentucky plates that had been reported stolen Thursday after Oakley’s stepmother, Rhonda D. Oakley, 52, was found slain inside her home on Old Hustonville Road.
Nigh was arrested by Tucumcari police and charged with one count of contributing to the deliquency of a minor.
The search for Oakley began Thursday when she did not return home after her stepmother’s death.
