Paul Laurence Dunbar High School's academic team ran the table in this week's Kentucky Governor's Cup District 44 competition, winning every event.
The Dunbar team also has climbed to 10th in the nation in the latest Quiz Bowl national rankings. The team has won the Kentucky state championship three years in a row.
In Thursday's Governor's Cup District 44 competition, held at East Jessamine High School, Dunbar swept the composition, math, science, social studies, language arts and arts & humanities categories, as well as winning in future-problem solving and quick recall.
Henry Clay High School won the Governor's Cup District 43 competition.
