The U.S. Coast Guard has launched a search-and-rescue operation for a man seen falling into the water from a cruise ship.
The fall was captured on a gripping video posted on YouTube.
The incident happened at about 1 a.m. Friday at 80 nautical miles northeast of Mayaguana, Bahamas, according to the Coast Guard.
Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas cruise ship reported a missing 35-year-old male. No other information on the missing man has yet been released.
In a video posted on YouTube, frantic screams can be heard as the unidentified male falls into the dark water.
The cruise ship launched two small boats to begin searching for the male who was last seen wearing a pink shirt and white shorts, Coast Guard reported.
Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater HC-130 and MH-60 aircrews are currently searching for the man.
