Kentucky native brings Washington experience home to cover politics for the Herald-Leader

After growing up in Owensboro and graduating from Western Kentucky University, Sam Youngman spent more than a decade covering national politics from the campaign trail to the White House. No matter where I've been, whether it was the diners of New Hampshire or in the skies aboard Air Force One, Kentucky has always been with me, Youngman said. Now he's coming home where he'll cover politics for the Herald-Leader.
