Two teenagers lying on railroad tracks in Whitley County were hit by a train and killed early Tuesday, according to Kentucky State Police.
Police identified the two as Cody E. Stevens, 18, of Barbourville, and Jordan X. Carr, 18, of Williamsburg.
The two were lying on the tracks near KY 26 at Underwood Road when a CSX train hit them about 2 a.m., police said.
The spot is near Rockholds, between Corbin and Williamsburg.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
