The accident happened Thursday at 9:40 p.m. in Ferguson, which adjoins the county seat of Somerset.
The boy was riding his bike through a yard on Murphy Avenue when he rode into the street and hit a 2007 Toyota Prius driven by Ronald D. Begley, 26, of Ferguson, police said.
