Extra security measures will be taken Monday at Clay County High School because of a possible threat.
According to WYMT, Manchester police said threatening writing was found inside the school, and police are taking the threat seriously. The threat targets Dec. 4 as a possible day for violence at the school, WYMT reported.
But in a Facebook post, Clay County Public Schools officials said the school was checked, and no message was found on any walls.
Manchester police and the Clay County Sheriff are investigating the threat, school officials said.
