Two people were killed and two others were injured in a Clay County crash.
Coston Sawyers, 90, and Lizzie Sawyers, 77, both of Hyden died as a result of the wreck near the 30-mile marker of the Hal Rogers Parkway about 4 p.m. Saturday, Kentucky State Police said.
Coston Sawyers died at the scene, and Lizzie Sawyers was flown to University of Pikeville Medical Center, where she died, state police said. Lizzie Sawyers was not wearing a seat belt.
Lizzie Sawyers was driving east when her car crossed the center line and collided with a van driven by Charles Sweeney, 74, of London, state police said.

Sweeney and his passenger, Helen Sweeney, 75, of London, were flown to University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center for treatment, state police said.
Charles and Helen Sweeney were both listed in fair condition Monday, UK spokesman Joules Kim said.
