The southbound lane of U.S. 23 in Floyd County has been reopened after a rock slide that closed the road Wednesday.
The slide occurred in the community of Ivel near Davidson Memorial Cemetery, state police said. Traffic was diverted via Ky. 1426 while the road was closed.
Southbound and northbound traffic can pass the slide using the reopened southbound lane, state police said, but delays are expected. Crews are still working to clear the rest of the debris.
