A Richmond man died Wednesday after a two-vehicle crash in Laurel County.
William Hayes, 30, of Richmond, died after his Honda motorcycle crossed the center line on Ky. 192, the Laurel County sheriff’s office said. At about 6:30 p.m., Hayes was driving west when he hit a Nissan van traveling east after it pulled out of a driveway.
The Laurel County coroner pronounced Hayes dead at the scene.
The driver of the van, Robert Burkey, 69, of London, reported no injures. Another passenger in the van, Jessie Berkley, 65, of London, was taken to the hospital.
