Kentucky State Police were investigating a crash Saturday night in Casey County that left one man dead and seven injured.
The crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. on U.S. 127, five miles north of Liberty, according to state police. Four vehicles were involved.
Phillip Tayler Dillon, 26, of Danville was pronounced dead at Casey County Hospital in Liberty.
Jordyn Harley, 23, and Monty Britton, 25, both of Harrodsburg, were taken to Ephraim McDowell in Danville. Harley was transferred to University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. Both were listed in stable condition.
Harley and John Whitaker Jr., both 10, were taken to Casey County Hospital, and were treated and released. John Whitaker Sr., 36, of Frankfort, was flown to University of Kentucky Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Jeffrey Sweet, 48, and Christy Sweet, 41, both of Liberty, were flown to University of Kentucky Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.
The investigation remains open.
