The Kentucky Public Service Commission is holding a series of meetings to hear from people who would be affected by rate increases requested by Kentucky Utilities and its parent company, Louisville Gas and Electric Co.
A Lexington meeting will be held Jan. 12 at Bryan Station High School, 201 Eastin Road. It, like the others, begins at 5:30 p.m.
The other meetings:
■ Monday in Room B 101 of the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville. There will be no charge to park.
■ Tuesday in the Health Campus Auditorium of Madisonville Community College, 750 North Laffoon Street.
■ Thursday at the Middlesboro Community Center, 705 North Petersborough Avenue.
Under the proposal, an average KU residential customer would see a monthly bill increase of $4.50.
