MOUNT STERLING — A judge declared a mistrial Tuesday after a jury was not able to be seated in the trial of a woman accused of murder in the death of her husband.
Jury selection began Tuesday in the trial of Pamela Bartley, accused of killing her husband, Carl Bartley. He was found shot in the back of the head in the garage of his Jeffersonville home in July 2007.
"We were unable to seat a jury," said Commonwealth's Attorney Keen Johnson.
Montgomery Circuit Judge William B. Mains scheduled a status hearing for Aug. 3.
