DANVILLE — A Harrodsburg doctor pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a murder charge in the May 29 death of his wife.
Dr. Steven Hall is accused of striking Isabel Hall, 49, with a pontoon boat on Herrington Lake while they were celebrating their 21st anniversary.
Steven Hall, 47, told Kentucky State Police that his wife's death was an accident. He appeared in circuit court Tuesday for the first time since his indictment last month.
Hall remains in the Boyle County jail in lieu of a $2 million bond. Defense attorney Steve Romines asked Boyle Circuit Judge Darren Peckler to consider reducing the bond.
Peckler said he would review the bond but made no decision Tuesday.
