A 70-year-old Danville man died Sunday morning in a fire at his home, Boyle County Coroner James Ramey said.
Howard Watts was sitting in his kitchen at a duplex at 202 Mason Avenue in Danville when the fire started about 8 a.m. Ramey said. Neighbors saw the smoke and called the fire department.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, Battalion Chief James Coffman said. But the fire was contained to the kitchen.
Ramey said Watts lived alone. He died from burns and smoke inhalation.
