A teenager was killed in a Lincoln County crash and a driver died later at University of Kentucky Hospital, Kentucky State Police said.
Lenora Parker, 17, of Stanford was a passenger in a 2001 red Ford driven east on Ky. 78 by Stevie Bolden, 18, of Hustonville. About 5:30 p.m. Monday, Bolden lost control on wet pavement while taking a curve and struck a 1998 red Chevrolet driven west by Shelly Sears, 38, also of Hustonville, according to a police report. Bolden's vehicle struck Sears' vehicle on the passenger side door.
The Lincoln County coroner pronounced Parker dead at the scene. Sears and Bolden were flown to UK Hospital where Sears died at 7:41 p.m., police said. Bolden was in serious condition.
