A Corbin man died early Saturday morning after his motorcycle crashed at a high speed on Interstate 75 in Southeastern Kentucky, authorities said.
Justin L. Jones, 29, was pronounced dead at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin following the wreck, Whitely County Coroner Andy Croley said.
The crash occurred about 12:40 a.m. at the Corbin-Barbourville exit on I-75, Croley said.
According to Croley, Jones was riding north on his motorcycle when he apparently attempted to turn onto the exit ramp and lost control at what the coroner described as a "very high rate of speed."

Authorities said the cycle struck a guardrail, throwing off its rider.
Jones was wearing a crash helmet, the coroner said.
