Hazard - Three people died in motor vehicle crashes in Eastern Kentucky on Saturday night.
Nathan Baker, 20, of Yeaddiss was traveling north on Ky. 699 in the Cutshin community of Leslie County, when he lost control of the motorcycle he was riding and hit a guardrail, Kentucky State Police said in a release. He suffered multiple injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at Mary Breckinridge Hospital in Hyden.
In a separate incident, drivers of two vehicles — Antonio J. Tincher of Hindman and Charles R. Mosley of Garner — struck head-on while traveling on Ky. 550 East in Garner, in Knott County. They each received fatal injuries. That crash remained under investigation by state police.
