Marine's bravery, Kentucky life spotlighted before Medal of Honor ceremony

In advance of next week's Medal of Honor ceremony, a USA Today story offers an in-depth look at recipient Dakota Meyer, his Kentucky roots and the bravery that won him the honor. The newspaper noted Meyer saved the lives of 13 U.S. troops and 23 Afghan soldiers on Sept. 8, 2009. He also retrieved the bodies of four fellow U.S. soldiers.
