A second child has died as a result of a Wednesday house fire in Cynthiana.
Rachel Chesnut, 4, died at 1 p.m. Thursday at University of Kentucky Children's Hospital, the Fayette County Coroner's Office said.
The cause of death was smoke inhalation.
Rachel's sister, Jacqueline Chesnut, was pronounced dead Wednesday at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday.

The girls' father, Terry Chesnut, was listed in critical condition Thursday at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
Kentucky State Police are investigating the cause of the fire on Oddville Avenue. A dispatcher at the state police Dry Ridge post said Thursday afternoon that there was no updated information regarding the investigation.
