A man with a jar of moonshine set a number of small fires as he drove his riding lawn mower along a road in Bell County, according to rangers with the Kentucky Division of Forestry.
Rangers were on the lookout for suspicious activity because there had been several fires in the area recently, and they saw the man setting the fires, said Lynn True, spokeswoman for the Division of Forestry.
The rangers called state police. Police were not immediately able to find the man at his home, so he has not been arrested, True said Friday morning.
However, authorities know his identity.
