A London man was killed Monday in a traffic accident in Whitley County. Kevin P. Muncy, 32, was driving north on Interstate 75 at 6:35 p.m. when he lost control of his Dodge pickup and veered into the median.
The truck overturned and Muncy was thrown from the vehicle into the southbound lanes of the interstate. He was hit by a commercial vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, Charles J. Williams, was treated at the Baptist Regional Medical Center for minor injuries and discharged.
Muncy was not wearing a seat belt.
