If you don’t like the term “climate change,” call it pollution.
You’re the guy who’ll raise holy hell if your neighbor dumps trash in your back yard, but sit mute when a corporation does even worse. It spews toxins into your air, water and land, but you take it because said corporation is a “job creator.” What good is that job if your child is born with a birth defect or your wife contracts lung cancer and the Republicans you elected have watered down the health care law? I’m sure your magnanimous employer-corporation will cover your additional medical costs and hold your job when you must skip work to see a pediatric specialist or oncologist.
Corporations need more regulation, not deregulation. You think they’ll respect an honor system and police themselves? Then you’re the same guy who would allow his 16-year-old daughter to host a coed sleep-over without a chaperone.
Corporations avoid cleaning up their own garbage by getting their donation-bought politicians to write laws allowing them to pollute, making you, the taxpayer, pick up that cost.
You elected a real winner in President Donald Trump. He wouldn’t believe in “climate change” if the Atlantic Ocean were creeping up the White House lawn.
