The June 9 article by David Lightman was a real crock. Using it as the main story is a bad attempt to lead one to think that it is real news.
A real comparison of the Democratic and Republican candidates for president would have the support of a careful survey of many people from all backgrounds and political affiliations. However, this is obviously the opinion of only one person.
It would be one thing if Lightman just wrote his analysis, but he goes further and actually determines a win, lose or draw in looking at several attributes of the candidates. And, naturally, Hillary Clinton wins. This article belongs on the opinion page, not on the front page, disguised as a leading news story.
While I am not shocked that the paper did this, it does expose the Herald-Leader for the liberal rag that it is.
