Welcome to Kentucky Agriculture 2.0.
I'm Robert "Bob" Farmer, the Democratic nominee for Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture. Ag 2.0 is the future of Kentucky.
I'll decentralize Frankfort and establish four regional offices, charged with rural economic development. Connect family farmers to global markets and connect Kentucky to the world. I'll use my 30 years of successful national marketing experience to take Kentucky Proud to the next level. Let's burst our state boundaries and introduce the world to the excellence of Kentucky Proud.
It's not just about making the right choice on Nov. 8, it's about avoiding a dangerous choice. My opponent, Rep. James Comer, won the Tea Party Legislator of the Year award. He voted against the dropout bill to keep kids in school, against equal pay for women and against increased child-support enforcement. Comer voted against background checks for adults applying for jobs at Kentucky schools and against securing a young child in a booster seat.
Never miss a local story.
How do those votes translate to Kentucky agriculture? Will Comer support Women in Agriculture if he doesn't support women in the workplace? Will he keep our food safe if he doesn't keep our children safe? Comer also voted five times in 10 years to increase his pay and pension. Frankfort needs more saving and less spending.
I'm Robert "Bob" Farmer and I'm asking for your vote on Nov. 8. Agriculture 2.0 will help Kentucky farmers and benefit Kentucky consumers. Vote for Kentucky Ag 2.0 and vote for Bob Farmer.
