Kentucky State Police have charged Jason Britt with second-degree manslaughter for allegedly wantonly causing the death of Ronald Lee of Morgantown by shooting him with an arrow from a compound bow, Trooper Jonathan Biven said.
Britt allegedly was under the influence of methamphetamine when the shooting occurred Saturday night.
Lee, 51, was shot at a house in Morgantown. Lee was taken to Vanderbilt University Hospital, where he died.
Jason Britt, 35, of Barren River Road in Bowling Green, was arrested Monday with Sharon Britt at an abandoned property in Ohio County.
Biven said both were arrested on unrelated charges for a bond revocation from pending methamphetamine charges.
On Wednesday, police added manslaughter to Jason Britt's charges.
He was being held in the Warren County Regional Jail; Sharon Britt was in the Butler County Jail, Biven said.
