Exercise rider Willie Delgado held California Chrome as a cut in his right front hoof was inspected after the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner finished fourth in the Belmont Stakes.

Tonalist and jockey Joel Rosario were led to the winner's circle after spoiling California Chrome's Triple Crown bid in front of a Belmont Park crowd of 102,199.
California Chrome, with Victor Espinoza up, finished fourth in the Belmont Stakes Saturday. Tonalist, a 9-1 shot, was the winner.
