Devante Parker added 13 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots before fouling out for the No. 18 Bruins, who survived a 32-point fourth quarter from the Cardinals.
Sophomore forward Isaiah Ivey led Scott County with 27 points and six rebounds. He went 12-for-13 at the free-throw line.
■ Sophomore guard Mike Smith 23 points and four steals, and Reid Freeman added 19 points as Sayre held off Menifee County in an 82-70 home win.

■ Drew Mumford scored 20 points to lead Louisville Christian to a victory over Lexington Christian. Patrick Nickodem had 17 points, and Taylor Barnette added 10 for the host Eagles, who were up 37-36 to start the fourth quarter.
■ Lamont Johnson had 25 points, 11 rebounds and five rebounds, and Paul Dunbar forced 41 turnovers in a come-from-behind victory over host Shelby County.
William Gary added 16 points for the Bulldogs, who erased a nine-point deficit in the second half of their season opener.

■ Scott Blank hit a layup as the buzzer sounded, and host Buckhorn beat Pike County Central 73-72. Sophomore center Matt Day led Buckhorn with 37 points. Blank had 12.
■ Dylan Gilkey hit four free throws in the final 27 seconds as Frankfort held off a late rally at Paris to win 79-74. Gilkey finished with 19 points. Junior center Aaron Jacobs had 30 points and 16 rebounds for Paris.
■ Aaron Ponder hit six three-pointers and scored 25 points, but it wasn't enough for Madison Southern, which lost to Madison Central 60-57.
■ Austin Seagraves scored 37 points to lead Mercer County to a 76-71 road win over McCreary Central. McCreary senior Jacob Dixon scored 25 points.
■ MacKenzie Cann scored 16 points, and Caroline McDowell added 14 as Anderson County held off host Lafayette 51-46. Lady Generals senior transfer Shomari Kendrick had a standout debut with 18 points and eight rebounds.
■ Western Kentucky signee Danay Fothergill had 19 points and 11 assists to lead Southwestern over Cumberland County 80-26. Fellow senior Jessica Pierce added 15 points and 12 rebounds.
■ Playing in her second varsity season, 6-foot-1 eighth-grader Savannah Anderson scored a career-high 38 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Lewis County in its 65-55 road win over Augusta.
■ Senior guard Alyssa Lucas hit five three-pointers on her way to a game-high 17 points and added nine rebounds in Woodford County's 46-41 road win over Montgomery County.
■ Jillnell Bevins scored 30 points to lead Belfry to a 56-48 win over Tug Valley (W.Va.) at home.
