South Lexington's 12-year-old all-star team continued to make easy work of the Cal Ripken Major/60 World Series on Wednesday.
The Ohio Valley Regional champions whipped Opp (Ala.) 14-4 to advance to the tournament's semifinals at Monticello, Ark.
The victory came one day after South Lexington battered Drew County (Ark.) 26-1.
In four World Series games — all wins — South Lexington has outscored the opposition 66-7.

South Lexington scored 12 runs in the first three innings Wednesday.
Samuel Tackett and Bryce Travis homered in the third inning, and Ben Johnson in the fourth.
Travis finished with four RBI and Johnson had three.
Tackett pitched two innings in relief of Johnson and picked up the win. The two combined to strike out eight in the four-inning game.
