Adam Duvall got an infield single in the top of the ninth inning Sunday to make him the first player in Sacramento River Cats history to hit for the cycle.
The former Butler High School and University of Louisville standout was 5-for-6, and also had two doubles, a triple, a solo home run and four RBI in Triple-A Sacramento's 15-7 win at Salt Lake.
"It was exciting," Duvall said in a report on MiLB.com. "I would probably give it an A+. ... I was seeing the ball good. It was the kind of game that you hope to have every day, but it doesn't work out that way."
The San Francisco Giants prospect, a first baseman, is batting .457 with four home runs and 14 RBI in 11 games for the River Cats.
He reached the majors for the first time last season with the Giants, and he batted .192 with three home runs and five RBI.
■ Stewart Ijames (Owensboro Catholic, U of L) was 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Class A Advanced Visalia's 7-0 win at Stockton.
Ijames hit .309 at three stops in his first minor league season in 2014. The Arizona Diamondbacks prospect is batting .250 with three home runs and four RBI in eight games this season.
■ Zach Osborne (Pleasure Ridge Park) was 1-for-3 with a two-run double in Class A Advanced Modesto's 6-3 victory against Inland Empire.
The Colorado Rockies minor leaguer, a shortstop, is batting .379 with seven RBI in eight games.
■ Houston Astros prospect AJ Reed (UK) was 1-for-5 with an RBI single, a walk and two runs scored in Class A Advanced Lancaster's 15-11 loss at High Desert.
Reed, a first baseman, is batting .179 with two home runs and five RBI through 10 games.
■ Max Kuhn (UK) singled and had two RBI groundouts in Class A Beloit's 9-4 loss at Clinton.
A third baseman in the Oakland A's organization, Kuhn is batting .184 with five RBI in 11 games.
■ Former Lexington Legend Bubba Starling his his second home run of the season in Class A Advanced Wilmington's 4-3 win against Frederick.
The Kansas City Royals prospect was 3-for-4 and is batting .361 with eight RBI in nine games.
