Freshman quarterback Branden Cresap scored on a 1-yard keeper with 2.1 seconds left to give Lindsey Wilson a 28-24 win at Pikeville on Saturday.
Lindsey Wilson (3-2, 1-1 Mid-South Conference) led by 14 points on two occasions, but Pikeville rallied to take a 24-21 lead in the fourth quarter on Trevor Hoskins' 10-yard touchdown pass to freshman Shawntez Johnson.
Cresap answered by leading an 11-play, 80-yard drive, capped by his fourth-and-goal keeper on the last offensive play of the game.
Cresap was 25-for-46 passing for 364 yards but threw four interceptions. Hoskins was 16-for-39 for 232 yards with two TDs and a pick.

Thomas More 37, Grove City 7: Rob Kues threw four touchdown passes, and host Thomas More (5-0, 4-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference) routed Grove City (0-5, 0-3 PAC) on its homecoming.
LCA graduate Domonique Hayden led the Saints with 86 yards rushing, including a 26-yard touchdown run. He also caught two passes for 44 yards, including a 39-yard TD.
Murray State 48, Georgia State 24: Casey Brockman threw four touchdown passes, two to Walter Powell, and also ran for a score to lead Murray State (3-3) to a victory at Georgia State. Brockman completed 35 of 46 passes for 321 yards.
Donald Russell scored on runs of 4 and 9 yards for Georgia State (1-4). The Panthers were 6-5 a year ago under Coach Bill Curry in their first season of football.
Drake 41, Morehead State 26: Michael Piatkowski threw three touchdown passes, two to Nathan Paddock, as Drake (5-1, 3-0 Pioneer Football League) rallied to beat host Morehead State. The Eagles (2-4, 1-2), who came in leading the Football Championship Subdivision with 551.2 yards per game, were held to 297.
Kentucky State 25, Fort Valley State 24: Martez James scrambled 17 yards for a touchdown with 2:07 left to lift host Kentucky State (4-2, 1-2 SIAC) past Fort Valley State (1-5, 1-3). KSU rallied from a 24-13 deficit with 11:52 remaining. Justin Williams rushed for 176 yards for the Thorobreds, and teammate Jacquis Lockett added 138 yards, including TD runs of 44 and 49 yards.
